Ira was in my thoughts this weekend as we celebrated Elijah's graduation from high school with the Spencer's. He took to Ira at their very first Peck Family reunion when he was just a year old & Ira took great joy in both of those boys. It meant a great deal to me, as well, how he loved them. Have some great pictures of that weekend I will locate. Will see you Wednesday. Love to both of you, Nancy & Summer.

Ira, I'll never forget visiting you as a kid when I lived in Nashville, and all those times you gave me something to drink when I wanted something. Naturally, my parents wished for me to stop mooching coca cola, so I resorted to saying "Gee, I sure am thirsty." and the like. I will never forget that, or you. You were like another grandfather to me. God bless you, and my prayers are with you and your family.

Nancy and Summer...I can't tell you how sorry we were to hear of Ira's passing. We've been away from Nashville for many years now, but we have never forgotten all of you, and always thought of you all with great affection. Ira was a wonderful man who our kids thought the world of...Dustin has spoken of him so many times through the years--he was like another dad to him... Please know you are both in our prayers...
With sincere condolences,
Tammy and Tom
