To Sandy's family,

So sorry for your loss, she was a caring, compassionate, and intellegnet nurse. I would work with Sandy as she helped many survivors of sexual assault when they received medical care after being assaulted. There are so many individuals she assisted - She always put the victim's needs first. I know her work kept her away from home..........Thank you for sharing Sandy with all of us.

My deepest sympathies to Larry and the family. Sandy and I worked so closely together while I was MNGH at Meharry. Notably, she really kept me on target even though they said I was her supervising physician. Sandy was genuinely a kind person and a wonderful spirit to be around. She will be greatly missed .

I remember Sandy so fondly from her role as the employee health nurse at NGH. I remember one time in particular when she was taking my blood pressure and we got to laughing so hard about something that my pressure went up over 200! SHe was so much fun to be around and I will always remember her fondly and with a smile.
