I got to know her wonderful brother Marvin Mann and his sweet wife through church. I can also remember hearing Lorene's songs and seeing her on TV when I was a child. She was immensely talented and blessed with a beautiful voice. I'm thinking of her family at this sad time.

I remember appearing on some TV shows with Lorene, many years ago. She was a sweet, friendly person, aside from being a talented songwriter and singer. My condolences to her family.
