Will T. had a positive impact on many young combat controllers in the 60s at Sewart AFB. He was a seasoned and respected NCO to be emulated. His door was always open on or off duty to friends and teammates.

My deepest sympathy to your entire family on your loss. Even though it had been several years since I had seen Bill, I do miss him. I think seeing you, Sonja and Jill, brought him back into my life again. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know him and your mother. Thank you for allowing me to work with you, and please call if you should need to speak to me. All my best thoughts go with you now and in the future.
