I only knew Ryan for a short time. We worked out together sometimes at the G.H. YMCA and often talked about life, lifting, and other things. He was a pretty cool dude, and I am as shocked as anyone to learn of this tragic loss. To his family, he will be missed, and I will keep you in my thoughts always.

I worked with Ryan at Cummins Station. My heart broke when I heard the news of his passing. He was an absolute delight in our office. I loved having him around. He always always smiling and always made me laugh. My deepest condolences goes to the entire Forstman family. Ryan was awesome, and I am thankful for the time I spent with him.

Ginger and Steve: I remember when my grandma lost her son, my dad... I didn't think she'd ever survive that loss. But somehow she did, and then she lost 2 more of her sons and again she survived those losses. I know her faith and strength saw her through the dark, desolate hours when she didn't think she could go on. Your lives have been forever altered... I hope you find some consolation in the love of friends, family and each other. May you find the strength and faith you need as you make this journey of acceptance and healing.

This was taken on my birthday last year. The waitress thought Ryan and I were together - so we went with it. He was so sweet to me that night :).

Ryan was an amazing friend, a compassionate person with a huge heart and delicate soul. He made me laugh uncontrollably. I was always excited to see him. I will never forget his genuine, enormous hugs - he would pick me up and squeeze me, and let me know he was happy to see me. Prayers are with your family and our friends through all of this. Ryan will always be remembered, and I will hold the memories close to my heart.
