Nashville, TN
Thomas Crockett Herbert, Sr. was born February 2, 1939 and peacefully passed away on November 19, 2015.
Teemas was a resident of Nashville and Rock Island, TN. He was Vice President of SanGravl Co. and member of The Rotary Club, The Home Builders Assoc., TARC and the Propellor Club. He was a member of West End United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert David Herbert, Jr. and Anne Crockett Brown Herbert and by his brother, Robert David (Bobby) Herbert, III.
He was survived by his sister, Anne Herbert Daniel (Eslick) and brother John Brown (Jack) Herbert; four children, Anne Denise Herbert, Thomas Crockett Herbert, Jr., Helen Herbert Healy, Kelly Herbert Potts (Sonnie) and their sister Elizabeth Bainbridge Weatherford (Hart) and their brother Thomas Norton Bainbridge, Jr.; his four "fabulous" grandchildren, Maggie Healy, Emma Healy, Levens Herbert and Thomas Crockett Herbert, III.
He devoted his life to being a loving and supportive Father, Grandfather and Friend to so many.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at West End United Methodist Church from 12:30 until 3:00 with a Memorial Service following.
In lieu of flowers, please do not vote for Hillary Clinton.

Always admired the way Teamas spent loving time with his immediate and extended family. His kids are the best and my nephews have always looked up to his son, Crockett, as a wonderful role model. Testament to Teamas and Becky. Love to all.

TEAMAS,TEEMAS WAS A QUIET SOUL BUT WITH A KEEN WIT,SOMETIMES TWISTED. I CELEBRATE HIS LIFE. IWAS A BOARDING STUDENT AT BGA IN THE MIDDLE TO LATE 1950'S.4 YEARS SEEMED LIKE 10 YEARS. IF YOU COULD GRADUATE IT WAS A TEST TO SEE HOW WELL YOU COULD WITHSTAND "WATER-BOARDING". TEEMAS WAS KIND ENOUGH TO INVITE ME TO HIS HOME ON A WEEK-END(I MUST HAVE HAD LESS THAN 100 DEMERITS) IT WAS A JOY TO BE IN A WARM LOVING HOME. HE EVEN HAD LOVELY SISTERS THAT I COULD VIEW. THE FAMILY WAS VERY KIND TO ME. I GUESS WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO IS THAT I TRULY LOVED TEEMAS HERBERT AS I DO THE MULTI-FACETED(SP) CLASS OF 1958 0F BGA. IF I EVER DECIDE TO GET A TATOO IT WILL BE SOMETHING OF BGA,PROBALLY THE SMOKING CLUB THAT WAS FROWNDED ON. I KNOW HEAVEN WILL ENJOY THE SMILE OF TEEMAS AND HIS POLITICAL VIEW.
