We are thinking of you Mary as you learn to live life without Tommy. It won't be easy, but you are strong and you have the support of your family. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers and may your pain and grief soon be replaced with all of the wonderful memories you have of such a wonderful man. We love you!

Mary, I remember you and Tommy so well from our "younger" days at Vine Street. You both were so warm and friendly and your presence was a blessing to all of the members. The way you both handled Tommy's illness was an inspiration to everyone who knew you. May God bless you now and bring you comfort. Most sincerely, Sondra and Ted Lee

I could always count on a big "hello kate!" whenever I walked into the dining room to have lunch with my mother at NHC. He always had a joke to tell me and he always asked how me and my family were. He was such a sweetheart and I know that the folks at NHC will miss him dearly.

Mary, you are such a graceful, loving woman who took such good care of your husband. Tommy was so lucky to have you.

The world was a better place with Tommy in it!

Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mary and her family during this time of grief. Tommy was a wonderful man and this loss will be felt by the thousands of people that had the pleasure of knowing him. His passion for life, his wisdom and humor will be sorely missed.

His exemplary dedication and leadership as Executive Vice President of the Southern Nursery Association (SNA) from 1972 - 1988 brought about much change and progress for the association. Tommy's efforts went above and beyond the call of duty and he will long be remembered in the annals of history of the SNA.

Let us bow our heads in thankfulness for what he meant to us all and pause in a moment of silence to honor his life.

Karen Summers, Interim Executive Vice President
Southern Nursery Association
