My deepest condolences for the loss of a great man. I knew him before I started working for Krispy Kreme when he would ride with his employee Dee (as I called him), or have to do the delivery himself at the gas station I worked at in Murfreesboro. He was always happy and you could tell he had a positive outlook on life and that he loved his job. I know he will be greatly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers for his wife Faye and his family. May God put his arms around you and comfort you during this difficult time.

Our paths crossed many time's in our line of work, and now I reflect back on how Al was always smiling. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to know Al. I met Al when he started working for Krispy Kreme in 1985 when I worked in the office there. Al always had a smile on his face and never talked bad about anybody. I left Krispy Kreme in 2004 but we still kept in touch with Christmas Cards and birthday wishes every year and he always said that he was going to bring me some doughnuts to where I work now LOL . Al was one of the nicest and the most kind hearted person I have ever met. He will be missed tremendously My prayers are with his family.
