Age 31, passed away June 5, 2016.
Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Jonathan was an amazing brother, husband, son, uncle, and brother-in-law.
Jonathan loved music and was always ready for a shot of firewater.
He always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps in his military career and proudly served his country as an Army Combat Medic.
He loved his Brothers in Blue just as much as his own family. Jonathan was part of Session 64 at the Police Academy, became a respected police officer who earned numerous commendations.
Police service was his life, his dream was to serve. His family is so very proud of him.
Jonathan will always be loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation Thursday from 1-8pm and Friday from 12pm until the time of service at 2pm at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, 2707 Gallatin Rd. (615)262-3312.

Dear Family and Friends, We are so very sorry for your great loss. A life touches so many in so many ways and thirty one is way to young to depart. Our prayers will continue from time to time as Our Loving Father beacons us to pray for your comfort, joyful memories and pleasant thoughts and truths. Hold to Our Lord and His Word. May God Bless & Protect you all.
Just wanted to say Thank You for serving along side our son who gladly worked with your Jonathan. Knowing others are helping to keep our son safe is a great comfort to us.

So very sorry for your loss. I did not know Jonathan personally but my husband is a fellow officer and there is that brotherhood that touches you deeply. May god wrap his arms around your family during this difficult time.
