Mark Whitman Chilcote

Franklin, TN

Born on the 1st of June, 1945 and passed away on the 5th of April, 2014 at the age of 68.

Preceded in death by his parents, Russell Q. Chilcote and Helen Miller Chilcote; brother, Arden R. Chilcote; and first wife, Donna Bruns Chilcote.

Survived by loving wife of 23 years, Jerrie J. Chilcote of Franklin, TN; son, Mark Kevin Chilcote of Nashville, TN; stepson, John (Kimberly) Ingram and grandchildren, Jessica and Jakob Ingram, all of Murfreesboro, TN; and sister-in-law, Carol Chilcote of Franklin, IN.

Mark was a member of Franklin Church of Christ and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic at Whiteman AFB in Missouri.

A Celebration of Life service will be held the morning of Wednesday, the 9th of April, 2014 at ten o'clock at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall, with Minister Mitch Davis officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family and friends to serve as Pallbearers.

The family will gather with friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday evening from five o'clock until eight o'clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
