Our sympathy and prayers to all Rev. Shields family and friends. We have known and loved Paul since 1954 during Trevecca Days. So thankful for his life and ministry, especially good memories of his music in the church several years ago. Our paths went different directions in ministry, but never forgot his life and love for the Lord Jesus.

Although Pastor Paul prayed for so many, I will never forget his prayers for my healing. He loved so deeply and gave of himself to those who needed him whether he knew them or not. I have thanked God so often for Pastor Paul. He showed me what it means to trust in God. He never stopped his ministry-I know he is celebrating his homecoming with our God in heaven. My love to Nelda and his family. They were so blessed as were countless others.

Psalm 23:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
