Willie Mae Myers age 89, of Nashville, passed away on August 31, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 7, 1927 in Florence Co., South Carolina to the late William P and Eunice Kirby Player.
Her love for God, the Church and her family ran deep within her. Being a Pastors wife she had the passion for spreading Gods Word and His love; she was involved in many different ministries but she held the South Carolina Nazarene Camp Ground and the compassion for lost souls close to her heart, helping anyway she could.
She will forever be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, MeMaw and MaMaw
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack M. Myers, Sr. and siblings, Richard Player, Glennan Player, Louise Horton, Mary Alice Armstrong, and Ruby Lee Brewer.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her children, Linzett (Steve) Newman, Jack M. (Kay) Myers, Jr. and Mark (Karen Starr) Myers; grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott) McDaniel, Erica Pelfrey, Jody (Christy) Myers, April Kay (Marc) Moore, Kary (Ed) Holland and Kathy (Kurt) Madvig; and great-grandchildren, Mason Moore, Wilson Marie Moore, Mallory Moore, Lauren Holland, Courtney Holland, Alexander Madvig, Alyssa Madvig, and Addison Madvig.
A Life Celebration will be held Friday, Sept 2, 2016 at 2pm in the Sanctuary of Grace Church of The Nazarene: 2620 Pennington Bend Road, Nashville, Tennessee 37214. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11am until the time of service.
Memorial Donations can be made to Grace Church of The Nazarene.

Sorry to hear of Willie Mae's passing. We will always remember her & your Dad in the pastoring of Bennettsville Nazarene! Such wonderful people; we will always have fond memories of both of them. Will keep you in our prayers.
