Stephen HATCHETT Obituary

HATCHETT, Stephen Barnett Age 25 of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 after a lifelong battle with Batten Disease. He was born on November 25, 1985 to Randy and Sherry Hatchett. He is also survived by his big brother, Rob (Rachel) Hatchett; maternal grandmother, Bobbye Bryson; paternal grandparents, Emmett and Margie Hatchett; and his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Bryson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stephen Hatchett Endowed Scholarship, Freed-Hardeman University, The Center for Estate and Gift Planning, 158 E. Main St., Henderson, TN 38340; The Batten Disease Support and Research Association, 166 Humphries Dr., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068; Jackson Park Church of Christ; Alive Hospice; or the Tennessee School for the Blind. A special thanks to all the wonderful ladies of our Alive Hospice Monarchs team. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 26th at Jackson Park Church of Christ, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, August 25th at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 5110 Gallatin Rd., (615) 865-1101.
