Aunt ChiChi's memory persists and it is with joy that I can recall all of the special times we all shared with her-from when she came to New York and then to Florida. It was an honor to know both she and Uncle Wiley and they were both so good to Don and Peg's 8 children, of which I am the oldest. On behalf of the eight of us, our spouses, children and grandchildren I say "thank you" for the precious memories! Love Peggy and Gil

The "NON" gave me 3 1/2 years of pure pleasure. Not only was she my friend, she also became part of my family. She was one of the most loving and gracious ladies that I have ever known. The "NON" will be with me forever- always in memories.
I Love You,
Kay

My mother told me stories of the hard times she and Aunt Chi Chi had as young wives raising kids in Nashville. Mom often cried remembering how unselfishly Aunt chi Chi would give her money to pay a bill or share a staple with her. They would sit together and shuck corn or snap beans and keep each other company. My Mom saved the receipts for some of those Bills. She said " she didnt have 2 cents to rub together herself but she gave me the money." She really blessed all of us with her love and she left a light in this place that will never go out. Our family in Nashville is in our hearts and prayers. We Love you.

I will remember my lovely and gentle Aunt Chi Chi fixing her coffee in a real china cup and then sitting down to talk and laugh and explore our beliefs and values and ideas. In my mind, she never grew old. She was always forward thinking, expressive, liberal, artistic, witty, playful with her sarcasm and devoted to the love of her family. She taught me to cook, to see the world a little differently, and to believe in myself. I loved her and missed her even before her spirit left this world, but she is where she has longed to be - with her soulmate and pal - Wiley.
Diane and Liz, our hearts and our memories are with you while you move past this.
Love, "Niecely and Brad"

I just remembered that aunt chi chi collected match books and business cards from all the places that she enjoyed. ie broadway plays and resturants. She has given most of us a little pieces of her to remember when you look at her painting in your house. She would say ' Oh that was not a good one I made some mistakes". But to us its was the best from aunt Chi Chi. I love you aunt Chi Chi say hello to my grandmother( Margaret Striplin) ( my good friend I miss her ) Thomas Ulrich .
