STONER, Charles Scott Age 60 of Hendersonville, passed away April 22, 2010. He was born September 11, 1949. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Stoner and grandparents, Ernest and Lucille Nerren, & Charlie and Merree Moss. Survived by daughter, Lacey Stoner Smith; son, Kristofer Stoner; mother, Jean Stoner; sisters, Rep. Sherry Jones, brother-in-law, Richard Jones, Christie Stoner Gallent (Don), Shawn Stoner, Shannon Stoner Bottoms; son-in-law, Kevin Smith; Scott's fiancee, Kleetha Gilbert and son, Kedrin; 2 nieces, 4 nephews, 4 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews, many friends and ATO brothers from MTSU. A graduate of Antioch High School, 1967 and MTSU, 1973, Scott was a Metro Nashville school teacher for 34 years and taught at Overton High School, Glencliff (where he was a baseball coach) and Ewing Park. He coached many little league teams in Hendersonville over the years. He also served on the Board of Directors of Friends of Rock Castle in Hendersonville, TN. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Woodlawn Memorial Park, with visitation from 11 a.m. -1 p.m., at WOODLAWN-ROESCH-PATTON FUNERAL HOME, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204; (615) 383-4754.
