Mildred O. Gorton

Nashville, TN

Age 92, passed away on the 21st of February 2014.

Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence (Dutch) Gorton.

Survived by son, Terry Brown and his wife, Teresa; grandchildren, Ty Brown, Kelly Haggarty, Dustin Brown, and Adam England; and five great-grandchildren.

Mildred spent her career that spanned over 39 years with National Life Insurance, currently known as AIG, and during that time was honored to serve a term as the President of the National Secretary's Association.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home at two-thirty in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 25th of February 2014 with the family receiving friends for a time of visitation beginning at eleven-thirty that morning.

Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to either The Alzheimer's Foundation of America or to the Nashville Humane Association.
