Goodlettsville, TN

Don Pratt, age 78, passed away at his residence Wednesday, March 5, 2014.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Goodlettsville Cumberland Presbyterian Church Friday, March 7, 2014 at 6 p.m., with Bro. Tim Stutler officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.

He was preceded in death by parents, Samuel & Lula Pratt; his grandson, Hunter Thompson & eight siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy; daughters, Donna (Kris) Headley, Laurie (John) Thompson, Kelley (Bruce) McCandless; 5 grandchildren, Hailey & Hannah Thompson, Kendall, Carter & Cooper McCandless.

Don was a longtime member of the Goodlettsville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He and his nephew, Tom Pratt, founded and owned Pratt Machine Company for 34 years.

The family requests donations are made "In Memory of Don Pratt" to either GCPC - "Rebuilding the Walls", 226 S. Main St., Goodlettsville, TN 37072; or Alive Hospice, 1710 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203.
