Oval was born July 1, 1932 in Nashville and passed away Monday, March 24, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Whitehead Sullins and father, Oval Braxton Sullins, Sr.; wife, Bobbe Casady Sullins and brother, James P. Sullins.

He is survived by his sisters, Marie Sullins Murphree and Linda Sullins Ballew (David); sister-in-law, Lorna Roberge Sullins; nieces and nephews, John Williamson Murphree III, Janice Murphree Johnson, Lynn Murphree Rocco (August), Elizabeth Murphree, Brennan Ballew Fischer of Franklin, TN, Justin Ballew of Manchester, PA, Kelley Sullins Elliott (David) of Chattanooga, TN and Christie Sullins Woods (Lynn) of Gallatin, TN.

Oval graduated from Father Ryan High School in 1950 and began working in his grandfather's business, Whitehead Plumbing Company. He was an avid gamer and owned Gameland for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10 a.m., in the Chapel at St. Henry Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior. Reverend Joseph Patrick Breen, pastor of St. Edward Catholic Church will serve as Celebrant.
