Ronald "Ron" Cruse, 70, of Nashville TN, went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2014 after suffering complications from a stroke. Born August 5, 1943 in Flint, MI.
Ron was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ray and Opal Cruse; his brother, Ray Cruse Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cindy Cruse; his daughter, Lisa Cruse; son, Todd (Carlie) Cruse; granddaughter, Marlowe Cruse. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob (Sandy) Cruse, Larry (Jan) Cruse; sister, Sharon Robbins, in addition to his many nieces and nephews.
Before recently returning to Tennessee, Ron lived a majority of his life in Texas where he was a real estate broker and developer, loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Austin Fly Fishers. His passion for fishing and helping others was his motivation to become involved in starting SKIFF (Soldiers Kids Involved in Fishing Fun) sponsored by the Austin Fly Fishers. The only thing Ron loved more than the being outdoors was his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 28, 2014 at St. Augustine's Chapel in Nashville, Tennessee.
