Henry J. Brackman III (Hank), born January 22, 1949 in Nashville, TN, died May 25th, 2014.

Preceded in death by his parents, Henry Brackman, Jr. and Frances Ann Webb, and step-mother, Anne T. Brackman.

Survived by daughter, Anne Webb "Annie" and son, Dillon (Anna Margaret), along with sisters, Sue (Bud) Graham, Celeste (Steve) Waterman; brothers, Ray, Bobby and David (Sallie), and longtime special friend, Peggy Bouchard, along with two grandchildren, Gracie and Ella Claire, and many nieces and nephews; aunts, Marion Brackman Barry and Catherine Brackman Tribble.

Hank was in the graduating class of 1968 from Father Ryan High School. He loved his family, fishing and his country. While serving his country in the U.S. Navy, he was formally recognized for his selfless actions fighting a fire on board the USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7). Hank retired from Metro as a master carpenter after 20 years of service.

Pallbearers will be his beloved first cousins, Buster, George, Joe, Phillip, Rick and Chip, Barry, along with Dutch, Chris, and Tommy Brackman, and Vincent and John Keane, with friends, Collins Smith and Gary Hobbs.

Funeral mass will be at Christ the King Church Friday, May 30th at 10 a.m.
