Glenn Allen Sexton Obituary
Glenn Allen Sexton

Nashville, TN

Glenn Allen Sexton, age 73, passed away suddenly August 12, 2014 at his favorite spot - his cabin on Kentucky Lake.

He was a faithful, devoted husband. A selfless, loving father/grandfather to his daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. Above all, he was a devoted, faithful servant of the Lord. "PaPa Glenn" loved being with his family, watching Alabama football and fishing at the lake.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Agnes Sexton, and sister, Ethel Burch.

Survived by his wife, Rosemary Ducklo Sexton; daughters, Kathy (Tim) Wirth and Glenda (Paul) Dahlhauser; granddaughters, Jacqueline and Gracie Wirth, and grandsons Chris, Ryan and Thomas Dahlhauser; brothers, Edward, Ronnie and David, and sister, Anne; and many nieces and nephews.

West Nashville remembers Glenn as an outstanding football player at Cohn High School, achieving high school All-American honors. After playing for Tennessee Tech, he briefly played football with the St. Louis Cardinals. Glenn enjoyed a long 36 year career with General Motors Acceptance Corporation.

Visitation: Sunday, August 17th, 5-8 p.m., at Marshall Donnelly Combs. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at Christ the King Church at 10 a.m. Monday, August 18th, with visitation one hour before the service.
