Harry Alan Rosenberger
Harry Alan Rosenberger, age 94, died August 13, 2014. Born December 16, 1919 near Micanopy, Florida to Eugene David and Lillian Bauknight Rosenberger.
He joined the U. S. Army Finance Corps in 1940, served for twenty years and retired as a Major. He served during the Korean war. After army retirement, he and his family lived and worked in Gainesville, Florida. Upon moving to Tennessee in 1993, he joined City Road Chapel United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eileen; by his parents and two siblings.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Jones (John) and Joanne (Jody) Robinson (Neal), and a son, Richard (Janet). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, a great-grandson, a step-grandson and a step great-granddaughter. He is also survived by a sister, Margaret and a brother, Stanley.
Funeral Services will be Monday, August 18th at 11 a.m., from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, with Rev. Emily Reeves Grammer officiating. Entombment will be in Spring Hill Serenity Chapel Mausoleum with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 17th from 3-6 p.m., and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
