GILLILAND, Paul Gordon Age 50, passed away suddenly at home Sunday evening, August 31, 2008. Paul was Chief Financial Officer of Oncology Molecular Imaging, LLC and had previously served as CFO of several Nashville health care companies. In addition, he was a Certified Public Accountant. Paul was a loving husband and father. His greatest joy was having "his girls" at his side. Paul had a passion for helping the homeless and was a director of the "Room in the Inn" for Nashville's homeless at First Presbyterian Church where he was a long-time member. He also served on the Diaconate and the Mission Committee at First Presbyterian Church. In addition Paul was a current member of the Board of Trustees of The Oak Hill School in Nashville, was a past chairman of the board of YCAP Nashville and previously served on the board of Miriam's Promise. Paul was an active biking enthusiast and loved outdoor activities like hiking and scuba diving. He was looking forward to an upcoming wilderness trip with his daughter's 5th grade class at Oak Hill School. Paul was a graduate of the University of Tennessee/Knoxville where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He loved Vols football! Paul is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Elizabeth McAnally Gilliland and their daughter, Allison Grace Gilliland; a sister, Joan Cosson (Jim) of Hilton Head, SC; a niece, Susan Kizer (Darryl) of Knoxville, TN; a nephew, Jim Cosson (Jayne) of Washington, DC; and mother-in-law, Ann L. McAnally of Knoxville, TN; and countless friends who were "chosen family". Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. at The Cheek House at First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Road, Nashville, TN. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Nashville.
