TUCKER, Betty Lou Jackson "Nanny"Sunrise December 10, 1922, sunset eternal rest October 14, 2009. She was a native of Bellevue, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Will and Fannie Jackson, and spouse, Robert Tucker. She leaves to mourn her passing; daughters, Mary (Leroy) Parker and Elsie Weatherspoon; step-son, Sandy (Hattie) Tucker and step-daughter-in-law, Lula Tucker; grandchildren, Freda McCallister, Ava (Kwame) Thomas, John (Kim) Weatherspoon Sr.; great-grandchildren, John Weatherspoon, Jr., Kenetia Butler, Waverly Weatherspoon, Kwameka Thomas; 23 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren. Special friend Mrs. Eva Gooch; numerous loving and dear cousins, New Covenant Baptist Church family and friends. Visitation Tuesday, October 20, 2009 11 a.m.-12 Noon with funeral to follow at New Covenant Baptist Church, 8201 McCrory Lane, Nashville, TN 37221, Dr. N. Lavan Modling Jr., Pastor.
