ROBINSON, Chad Thomas Age 21 of Nashville, TN. Died on Friday, May 14, 2010 from injuries he sustained in a car wreck. He was born on May 25, 1988 in Savannah, GA. Chad graduated with honors from Cookeville High School in 2006 where he was a member of the football team and wrestling team. He was also a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. Chad was attending Nashville State and was scheduled to graduate next spring. Chad was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dr. Robert S. Robinson. Survivors include his wife, Whitley Carr Robinson; son, Christopher Aiden Robinson; unborn daughter, Avery Lilliana Robinson; his parents, Vicki and Fred Vermeer; father, Charles Robinson; paternal father, Paul Beasley; five sisters, Casi Robinson, Kelly Robinson, Christy Cowart, Cali Beasley and Vanessa Weerthof; mothers-in-law, Michele Carter, Patty Beasley and Abby Carr; father-in-law, Barry Carr; brother-in-law, Jordan Carr; grandparents, Dot Lanier, Suzie Robinson, Waldo Beasley, Wilber Lanier and Lottie Faye Lanier; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Chad was cremated in Nashville, TN on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Crawford Mortuary and Crematory. There will be a Wake in his memory on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. at Joiner Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro, Georgia. The memorial service will follow on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2 p.m. also at Joiner Anderson Funeral Home. Following the memorial service, his remains will be buried at Lake Cemetery in Metter, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Chad's son and daughter.
