TAYLOR, Clifton Monroe Age 90 years of Lebanon, passed away July 22, 2010. Mr. Taylor received his BS from Murray State, and a MS from Vanderbilt University. He was honorably discharged from the US Army Air. He was a retired Mathematician from Trevecca University for many years. He was a longtime member of the Donelson Church of the Nazarene. He is preceded in death by daughter, Gwendolyn Jane Taylor; siblings, Edwin Taylor, Clark Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Calvin Taylor, Dorothy Shadwick and Melvin Taylor. Survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruby Taylor of Lebanon; children, Martha (Joe) Long of Portland, TN, Clifton Ray Taylor of Lebanon, TN, Darlene (David Axford) Marsh, LaDonna (Rayburn) Yarborough, both of Nashville, Jeffrey Duane Taylor, Only, TN; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Eugene Taylor, Robert Taylor, MaryBelle Killebrew, Grace Sexton and Thelma Eldridge. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10 a.m., in the Mount Olivet Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. L. Alan Thompson officiating. Interment in historic Mount Olivet Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gideon Foundation.
