LANE, JR., L. D.Age 81 of Goodlettsville, died January 27, 2013. Preceded in death by a son, Roger Wilson Lane. Survived by wife of 60 years, Lallie Wilson Lane; son, Randy D. Lane; brothers, Darden, Scottie, Dan and Frank Lane; sisters, Nancy Burgess, Peggy Henley, Laura Freeland and Joyce Bishop; grandchildren, Toby K. Lane, Jamie Coulter and Jody N. Lane; step-grandson, Justin Thomas; and great grandchildren, Abagail Thomas and Greyson Lane. Mr. Lane was a member of Goodlettsville Southern Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge 271, Shriners, and Gideon's International. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War, and was a certified orthotist, prosthetist, and ped-orthotist. His remains rest at Robertson County Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. Masonic services will be conducted Tuesday at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 until 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
