DAVENPORT, Mr. James P.Age 90 of Franklin, TN, April 13, 2013. He was a Veteran of WWII. He served as Sergeant in the Battle of the Bulge, Cologne Plaines, and Ardennes Forrest. He is a member of Patterson Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Eva Morris Davenport and seven siblings. Survived by wife of 67 years, Mattie "Ma" Davenport; son, Larry (Carolyn) Davenport; daughters, Reba (Gene) Polk and Ona (Bob) Young; grandchildren, Jamie (Debbie) Polk, Amy (Clint) Hart, James and Megan Davenport; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Weston Polk, Mattie and Lila Hart. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor, officiating. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Monday and two hours prior to service Tuesday. Burial Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Jamie Polk, James Davenport, Weston Polk, Virgil Davenport, Lee and Andy Tywater, Ty Ragsdale, Matthew and Bo Rivers. Honorary Pallbearers: Carson, Houston, and Thomas Tywater, John Adam Bevels, Tyler and Jake Ragsdale. Memorial contributions may be made to the .
