Terence Brady PURYEAR Obituary

PURYEAR, Terence Brady Born September 1, 1940 in Gallatin, Tennessee, passed after a long illness with Parkinson's disease at his home in Satellite Beach, Florida on July 4, 2013. He was the son of the late Judge and Mrs. William P. Puryear of Gallatin. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 43 years, Elaine; his son, Michael and grandson, Seth; as well as his brother, William P. Puryear, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Since moving to Florida in 1983, Brady and Elaine have been active members of Satellite Beach United Methodist Church. Brady served on the board and held various officer and leadership positions at the Brevard Museum of Art and Science, the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Prevent of Brevard, the Chamber of Commerce and The Eau Gallie Rotary Club. While living in Satellite Beach, Brady worked at Barnett Bank and SunTrust Bank. He retired as First Vice President of Suntrust and served on the Administrative Board of Directors. He was known for his life-long love of classical music and opera and was an active member of the church choir.
