WILSON, Mildred M. "Mimi" Age 88, passed away on the 25th of August, 2013. A native of Chapmansboro, TN, she was a graduate of Ashland City High School. She was an official of the Tennessee State Fair for 54 years, an official of the Davidson County Election Commission for 42 years. She was a member of Hillsboro Church Of Christ for 49 years. She was Bookkeeper for Belle Meade Drugs for several years. Mrs. Wilson was one of Turner and Pearl Morris's 9 children. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Wilson, the love of her life for 65 years. She was preceded in death by sister, Joyce Bejma; four brothers, Elmo, G.B., Ray, and W.T. Morris. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Joel C. Wilson (Patricia); grandchildren, Matthew (Jen) Wilson, Kristin (Phil) Rutterer, Andrew Wilson, and Gretchen Wilson. Also survived by her great- grandchildren, Patrick, James, Wilson, John-John, and Thomas; sisters, Ann (Bob) Snelling, Betty Scruggs; brother, Wayne (Katrina) Morris; sister-in- law, Dorothy Morris. The family would like to thank Peggy Mays, Sherry Lee, Rosie Fite, Andrea Keckley, Patti and Chuck Robb, Tamara Pace, and Alive Hospice for their kindness and support. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 3 o'clock til 8 o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 28th of August in a drawing room of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton. Visitation will also be from 12 o'clock until time of funeral at 2:30 on Thursday, the 29th of August, 2013. Walt Leaver officiating. Pallbearers: Matthew Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Jim C. Wilson, Mike Bejma, Rick Spragins, Jeff Morris, Michael Pace, Brian Scruggs, and Trey White. Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Bramlett, P.K. Bramlett, Howard Redmond, Chuck Price, Melvin Vaughn, Buck Dozier, Bill Sullivan, and Elders and Deacons of Hillboro Church Of Christ. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family respectfully requests that contributions be directed to Alive Hospice.
