Inger Rasmussen Obituary
Inger Rasmussen, age 85 of Hendersonville, passed away on January 14, 2015.
Mrs. Rasmussen was born on May 2, 1930 in Odense, Denmark. She was best known to her grandchildren as "Farmor". She enjoyed laughing with them when trying to teach them Danish. She was very proud of her heritage and always enjoyed going back to Denmark for visits.
She worked for more than 10 years as a nanny and was very devoted to the children. She also enjoyed swimming at the YMCA.
Mrs. Rasmussen is preceded in death by her husband, Knud Rasmussen.
She leaves behind her children, Allan T. (Christine) Rasmussen, Stig T. (Hilda) Rasmussen, Anne T. (Michael) Rasmussen Farebee, and Mogens (Nina) Pederson; grandchildren Stig "Toft" Rasmussen, Samantha T. Rasmussen, and Maxwell T. Rasmussen; and her beloved dog "Leo".
A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, January 18th at 4 p.m., in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m., in the chapel.
The family asks memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123-1718.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of this sweet woman. I waited on her all the time at Walgreens and she was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. Praying for her family. Inger was awesome and always made me laugh!!!!

I was in the Y water aerobics class wth Inger and always enjoyed talking with her. I thought she was a special lady and I had missed her lately in our class. I didn't know she was sick and am sorry I wasn't able to send her a card so she could have known I was thinking about her. You have my deepest sympathy.
