Carlene Langford Howell, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 12th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Rev. James Johnson, Jr. and Dr. Ted Hill officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11th from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 12th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Steve Langford, Chris Langford, Danny Lashley, Ronnie Lashley, Micah Lashley, and Mike Binkley serving as pallbearers. Keith Langford, Terry Lashley, Mark Lashley, and Johnny Lashley are serving as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Howell was born August 31, 1933 in Macon County to the late Leonard Wade Langford and Ella Gammons Langford. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Russell "Hook" Howell; brothers, Lucion Langford and James "Joe" Langford; sister, Christine Lashley; and nephew, Darrell Langford. She is survived by nephews, Steve Langford (Lisa) of Gallatin, Ronnie Lashley (Linda) of Georgia, Terry Lashley (Carol) of Cottontown, Danny Lashley (Vicki) of Hendersonville, Mark Lashley of Nashville, Johnny Lashley (Jean) of Carthage, and Ricky Langford of Hendersonville; niece, Angie Langford of Hendersonville; several great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law's, Pansey Howell of Gallatin, Frances Langford of Gallatin, and Joyce Langford of Hendersonville.
