Matthew Brooks Obituary
Pegram - Age 26, passed away March 5, 2018. He worked with the Metro Nashville Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Wilma Jean Hunley, "Mawie".
Matthew is survived by his parents, Mike and Sharron "Sherry" Brooks; brothers, Stephen (Katie) Brooks and Mitchell Brooks; nephew to be, Owen Brooks; aunt and uncle Jeff and Sally Carter; cousins, Jean "Gina", Michelle, Mason and Mark; grandmother, Shirley Brooks; aunt and uncle, Linda and Steve Reed; uncle, Robert "Bobby" Hunley; great aunt, Linda Jones, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Matthew was loved by so many. He was a bright light in our lives. Matthew had a sweet spirit and beautiful soul.
A Celebration of Matthew's life will be on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 1:00pm, at Park Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Patrick Hamilton and Brother Dave Werner officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Metro Nashville Fire Department.
Visitation with the Brook's family will be on Saturday from 11:00am until the service time at 1:00pm, at Park Avenue Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
