Frederick J. "Fred" Drumm(1932 - 2014)

Frederick "Fred" J. Drumm, 81, of Curtis-Coopers Rd., Campbell, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Corning Hospital.

He was born August 12, 1932, in Corning, the son of Elmer F. and Clara N. (Flasphaler) Drumm. He married Beverly E. Smith Drumm on August 17, 1957, in Painted Post, NY.

Fred owned and operated his Dairy farm, Drumm Family Farm, Inc. and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Fred served on the Campbell and Campbell-Savona Central School Boards of Education for 15 years. He was a past board member of the ASCS Office, a member of the Farm Bureau and a life member of the Campbell American Legion.
After his retirement from the farm he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Beverly Drumm of Campbell; children, Vicky K. Teter of Campbell, Daniel J. (Pamela) Drumm of Campbell, Gary A. (Debra) Drumm of Campbell, Kelly J. (Todd) Costa of Campbell and James F. (Theresa) Drumm of Painted Post; brother, Richard (Wilma) Drumm of Campbell; sister, Helen Van Hassent of Campbell; grandchildren, Eric Pruden, M. Drew Teter, Jeffrey (Holly) Drumm, Samantha Rogers, Starlit Rogers, Andrew Drumm, Levi Drumm, Brandon (Ashley) Drumm, Christopher Baird, Caleb Drumm, Brittani (David) Smith, Brooke Knowles, Briana Knowles, Jamie Drumm and Natalie Drumm; great grandchildren, Bentley and Isabella Drumm; brother-in-laws, Donald (Carol) Smith and Richard (Rhea) Smith; sister-in-law, Donna (Clifford) Ellison; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at Acly-Stover Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Funeral Home. Committal prayers and Interment will follow in Coopers Cemetery, Painted Post, NY, with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the or the National Parkinson Foundation.
