My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Borden family. Growing up across the street from him, It was and always will be an honor and a privilege, more so forever blessed to have him as a neighbor, and a friend. He was world class all the way. I have so many fond memories and learning experiences growing up too numerous to mention. He set a precedent with his warmth and pleasant demeanor and his family exemplifies the same. He will be sorely missed but his own legacy will carry on.

I was saddened to hear that "Mr. B" has passed. It was a long time since I last saw him. He was one of the most caring souls that I have known. He always smiled and welcomed you into his home and you just felt like one of his family members. One year he dressed up as Santa and came to my parents house to pay a special visit to all the little ones. I will always remember him. My deepest sympathy to the family. He will always be remembered.

Shelvy I remember as a teenager babysitting for your girls when we lived in Beaver Valley. Mom and Dad - Bert and Bonnie Hamblin - were good friends with you and Bob. I am so sorry to hear about Bob. He was a good guy and all of us kids liked him! Prayers for you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Bob was one of the kindest me iI ever knew. There was nothing he wouldn't' do to lend a helping hand along with a wide grin and always asking what more he could do. He was a great guy and it was our privilege to be his next- door neighbor for many years.
Prayers to the family...
