Laura L. Waldo, 86, passed away on July 4, 2014 at the Steuben Health Care Facility. She was born in Avoca, NY., on October 12, 1927 the daughter of the late Earl Austin and Lennolee Spraker Austin.
She married Theron L. Waldo Jr. at the Brooklee Homes in Kanona in 1950, he predeceased her in 1960.
She retired from Pro Action of Bath, NY. She was a wonderful cook, she loved baking, enjoyed ceramics, gardening and picnics with her grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, husband, and two sisters Dorothy Bowes, Jean Rawliegh.
She is survived by her children Sharon Waldo of Bath, NY., Kent Waldo of Bath, NY., and Kurt (Linda) Waldo of Arizona, grandchildren Keli Machuga, Laurie Griffin, Aaron Griffin, Jessica Griffin, Michelle Cook, Nicole A. Taggert, Shanon Marie Fleming, Amanda Kay Markley and Kurt Douglas Waldo Jr. 17 great grandchildren.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 2:00pm at Bond-Davis Funeral Home of Bath. Burial Nondaga Cemetery Bath, NY.

So sorry to hear of your loss. My mom has been gone nearly 34 yrs. and there is not a day that goes by I don't think of her. This is sent with much sympathy to Kent and his family.

I am shocked and so saddened to hear of the loss of Laura...She was such a dear friend to me during my stay at SCHCF last year. My deepest sympathies to Kent and the rest of her family. She was a dear lady.
