Terrence Lee Knapp

Knapp, Terrence Lee "Terry", 67, of St. Petersburg, former resident of Corning, NY, a graduate of East High class of 1967 and a Navy Vietnam Veteran has left this world to fly high the Heavens as a beautiful angel to now watch over all that he loved on July 20, 2016 at 2:30pm.

Terry worked as a mechanic at the AMP factory in Horsehead, NY as well as American LaFrance in Elmira, NY. He drove as a CDL driver for Warner Trucking Company which lead him to retire at his beloved home in St. Petersburg, FL. Terry enjoyed hunting, guns, archery, Nascar, motorcycles, bowling and pool. He was a good carpenter and always enjoyed his time with his family and friends as well as his Jiff peanut butter sandwiches.

Terry was a loving father, grandfather, son and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Knapp; son, Daniel Knapp. He is survived by Laura; son, Christopher Knapp; brother Chuck Knapp (OWB) and his wife Jan Knapp; grandson Daniel Knapp Jr.; granddaughters Kaylee Perry Knapp, Britney Simonson, Lexi Matlock; daughter-in-law Jennifer Mattlock; parents Shirley and John Forman and his nieces and nephews. Terry's visitation will be Sunday, July 24 from 12pm until 2pm with funeral service to follow at 2pm; both at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home 7820 38th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.
