Marion R. Robinson, 85, formerly of Hammondsport passed away Sunday August 6, 2017 at the Taylor Health Center. She was born December 2, 1931 in Bath, the daughter of Marshall and Amy Smith Wright.
Marion was an vineyardist and retired from Pleasant Valley Wine Co. in Hammondsport.
She was an excellent cook, loved to garden and loved all animals.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Taylor Health Center for the excellent care they gave Marion, and Kathy Manning at Social Services for all her help.
Surviving are her sons, Lavearn T. "Tim" (Nancy) , Jr. Robinson of Bath and Thomas (Nikkie) Robinson of Addison her sister Katie Andrews of Kanona and several nieces and nephews and four grandchildren four great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Lavearn T. Robinson, Sr. in 1976 and her brother Marshall Wright. Friends may call Thursday August 10th from 2-3 p.m. at the LaMarche Funeral Home in Hammondsport. Funeral Services will be at the conclusion of calling hours at 3 p.m.
Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Hammondsport.
In lieu of flowers, and because of Marion's great love of animals memorials should be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA.
