Bruce William Andersson

1949 - 2013

Loving husband, father, and friend, Bruce William Andersson passed away Monday, February 11, 2013. Bruce was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 1, 1949 and grew up in Lake Placid, NY. He was a pre-Olympic downhill skier and avid speed skater. He graduated from Hudson Valley College and married Charlene Keleshian.

For forty-three years, Bruce loved and took pride in his work as a commercial contractor. He was greatly admired for his expertise in the field. Bruce's kind heart and generosity were an inspiration to his family and all those who knew him. He lived his life with integrity and unwavering optimism. Bruce was an active volunteer in his children's interests- from Indian Guides to coaching baseball and swimming.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 31 years Charlene, daughter Kristen, son Erik, sister Eva and many loving nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral Services for Bruce will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at St. Peter's Armenian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Bruce Andersson to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org. Arrangements entrusted to Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary, Newhall, CA.
