Snippets from "A letter from Joyce" she wrote last August and posted on Facebook:
"Thanks so much for your support. This time I need to remember all the peacefulness of the life I lived. My God never let me be afraid and he guided me thru so many tribulations. My angels never left me and if you sit in silence you know they are as close as they can be. He made us to know him and to love him and follow the readings of the book called the Bible. However the future unfolds and you are thankful for all the blessings put upon you. You cherish and respect what has befallen you. Love to you all and 'See You Soon'."
She was met in heaven by her son Nickie.
