Donald C. Wesberry
CARENCRO - Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Wallace Ridge Pentecostal in Jonesville for Donald C. Wesberry, age 52, who passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 8:20 a.m. at his residence in Carencro.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island in Jonesville. Pastor Derald Weber of The Pentecostals of Lafayette will officiate at the services.
Mr. Wesberry was a native of Ferriday and a resident of Carencro for the past seventeen years. He was employed with Parkway Service Group as a mechanic since 2005. Mr. Wesberry was a parishioner of The Pentecostals of Lafayette. He loved working and fishing. He also loved his family, especially his brand new granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Wesberry of Carencro; two daughters, Joanna Begnaud and her husband, Brock, of Scott and Karen Gilbreath of Carencro; one granddaughter, Katie Begnaud; three brothers, Charles Carlton of Ferriday, Ronald Wesberry and his wife, Beth, of Jonesville and Rabon "Ray Ray" Wesberry of Ferriday; and four sisters, Shirley Barrett, Vina Sue Ellis and her husband, Perry, all of Ferriday, Tammy Barfoot and her husband, Keith, of Monterey and Marilyn Brixley and her husband, Jim, of Ridgers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Siergrest Wesberry and the former Bessie Cockerham, both natives of Ferriday.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal (14565 Hwy 124) in Jonesville, LA from 6:00 p.m. Friday open all night until service time Saturday at Wallace Ridge Pentecostal in Jonesville.
