Felton Alexander
LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church for Felton Alexander, 65, who died August 23, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Services will be conducted by Fr. Robert Seay and Father Alexander.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, M. Helen Charles Alexander; one son, Felton C. Alexander, Jr. (Crystal); one daughter, Yolanda Steward (Michael), all of Tacoma, WA; 7 grandchldren; one great grandchild; one stepson, Grayson Scott; one stepdaughter, Nichelle Daniels (Lewis), both of Lafayette; 15 step grandchildren; one sister, Doris Thompson of Houston, TX; two brothers, Harry (Georgia) Alexander of Houston, TX, Melvin Alexander, Sr. (Maude) of Crosby, TX; one sister-in-law, Barbara Alexander of Houston, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Yolanda Prejean Alexander; paternal grandparents, John and Ella Alexander; maternal grandparents, Peter and charlotte Glaude Prejean; two brothers, John E. Alexander and Joseph Alexander Washington; one sister, Dorothy Mae Alexander and one brother-in-law, Kyzar Thompson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church from 7:00 a.m. until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
