Foote, Jacqueline  
Jacqueline "Jackie" H. Foote LAFAYETTE - Jacqueline "Jackie" H. Foote, died at the age of 67 on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 due to complications from Leukemia at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. She goes to join the love of her life, Russell James Foote, in glory. Jackie was born on October 1, 1947 in Crowley, Louisiana to Clifton "Doc" Hanks and Lena Hanks. She grew up in Morse, Louisiana, where she was the Homecoming Queen of Midland High School, Class of 1965. She retired in Metairie, Louisiana where she attended Munholland United Methodist Church. Jackie worked for 25 years as an apartment manager in Lafayette and Baton Rouge. She loved music, attending concerts, playing games with her family and talking. Boy, did she love talking. She lived and sacrificed for her family. She is survived by the joys of her life, her four boys, Kevin Foote and wife, Michelle, Marcus Foote and wife, Roselle, Jason Foote and wife, Melissa, and Eric Boudreaux and wife, Susannah; twelve grandchildren, Tayler, Cassidy, Rylie, Russell, Viviana, Georgia, Jennifer and husband, Turner, Julia, Jolie, Madison, Joshua, Rachel and two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Roman. She is also survived by three siblings, sister Brenda Thibodeaux and husband, Bobby, brothers Ben Hanks and wife, Renee and Steven Hanks and wife, Janice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell James Foote; parents, Lena Moore Hanks and Clifton Hanks; grandchildren, Samuel Foote and Isabella Foote. Pallbearers will be Ben Hanks, Steven Hanks, Brad Thibodeaux, Bobby Thibodeaux, Joshua Ford, Todd Hoffpauir, Mitchell Trahan and Corey Hanks. Honorary Pallbearer will be Russell Foote II. Visitation will be held at Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service. Funeral Services will be held in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2015, conducted by Reverend Richard Humphries of Asbury United Methodist Church. Bernice K. Kovar LAFAYETTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 am at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette for Bernice K. Kovar, 85, who passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Lady of the Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette. Visitation will be observed on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and resumes Monday, August 31, 2015 at 8:30 am until the time of services, at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette. A rosary will be recited by Brady LeBlanc, of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette. Entombment will follow in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette. Reverend Father Gilbert J. Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church in Lafayette, will officiate. Bernice was born February 15, 1930 in Mercedes, TX and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. She met her husband, Charles Kovar while attending a dance in Ellinger, TX. They later married in 1948 and had three beautiful daughters. She had a love for music, dancing and flowers. Bernice will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Bernice is survived by three daughters, Carol Baudoin and her husband, Darrell, Cheryl Heitman and her husband, Jay, both of Lafayette and Cathy Brennen of Katy, TX; her sister, Marianne Untermeyer; her brother, John Koepke, both of Columbus, TX; her grandson, Steven Baudoin and his wife, Elissa; her granddaughter, Anita Baudoin Venable and her husband, Michael, both of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Charles J. Kovar; her parents, Leon and Amanda Koehl Koepke; two brothers, Lawrence and Jay Koepke and her sister, Leonita Rau. Joycelyn Anne Primeaux January 26, 1951 ~ August 26, 2015 KAPLAN - Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Joycelyn Anne Primeaux, 64, who died Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at . She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Rev. Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be her nine nephews. Readers and offertory bearers will be her eight nieces. Joycelyn was a longtime client of the Alleman Center day program. She gave her family a lifetime of memories, laughter, giggles, and smiles. Despite her daily challenges, she continued to amaze all who knew her. She taught her family about living and loving. She enjoyed singing and dancing with her stuffed animals to American Bandstand and Soul Train music. Joycelyn looked forward to family gatherings, BBQ's, holidays, birthdays, weddings, and having her favorite, chocolate cake and milkshakes. She is survived by her mother, Rose Mae Richard Primeaux of Kaplan; her brothers, Robert Michael "Mike" Primeaux and his wife, Jennifer of Kaplan, Larry Paul Primeaux and his wife, Laura of Kaplan, Kenneth Charles Primeaux and his wife, Darlene of Kaplan; her sisters, Janet Marie Primeaux Broussard of Lafayette, Barbara Gayle and her husband, Billy Guttry of Kaplan, and Judy Evelyn and her husband, Scott Owens of Kaplan; 17 nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Robbie, Ryan, Jacob, Kenny, Hanson, Adam, Lance, Ethan, Jessica, Kimberly, Chancy, Aimee, Melissa, Leslie, Paulette, and Mandy; her god father, John Jack Richard of Baton Rouge; and numerous great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Huey Paul Primeaux; her grandparents, Elizabeth S. Roy, S.A. Richard, Henry and Aspazie Trahan Primeaux; and her god mother, Necez Vondenstein. Percy Randall Lafayete - Funeral services for Percy Paul Randall age 77, who died on Thursday August 20, 2015, at St Agnes Health Care Center in Breaux Bridge, will be held on Saturday August 29, at 10:30AM at Kinchen Funeral Home, Inc., 1011 N St Antoine St in Lafayette. He will be buried immediately following the services. Mr. Randall was born and raised in Carencro and lived in Breaux Bridge for more than 30 years. Percy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Elizabeth Randall, of Breaux Bridge, five daughters; Jeanette Randall of Pensacola Fl, Laura M Castille, of Baton Rouge, LA, Mary Carter of Spring TX, Ida Randall of Breaux Bridge, and Annie M Randall of Breaux Bridge and one son Joseph Randall of Lafayette, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Anna Mae Gallian Randall and one brother Clifton Randall. Mary Dolores Sampy LAFAYETTE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church for Mary Dolores Sampy, 65, who passed away August 24, 2015. Monsignor Ronald Broussard, pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption, will be the Celebrant of the funeral mass and will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Eric Bradley/Kenya Carter, Amanda Lopez, and Romalee Henry; giftbearers, Jazzmine Guidry, Elijah Bradley and Monica Roy. A eulogy will be delivered by Brandon Shelvin, Sr. Interment will follow mass in Evangeline Memorial Gardens. Survivors include husband, Leroy Sampy of Carencro; two daughters, Justine (Brandon) of Lafayette and Jameah (Anthony) of Scott; two sons, James Calvin (Delores) of Carencro and Joseph Leroy Jr. (Tasha) of Breaux Bridge; four sisters, Bernadette Ann Blair (Willie Rufus) of Missouri City Tex., Norma Jane Henry of Sunset, Willie Mae Harris (Rev. Randall) of Houston, and Priscilla Marie Carter (Harold) of Cankton; seven brothers, Joseph Gerold Henry (Elsie) of Atlanta Ga., Harold Martin Henry (Eva) of Church Point, Johnny Henry (Elizabeth) of Lafayette, Alvin Charles Henry of Sugarland, Tex., Larry Paul Henry (Abbie) of Spring, Tex., Wilson David Henry (Karen) of Houston, and Nelson Norman Henry (Judy) of Sunset; 27 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amelia and Joseph Henry; two brothers, Edward James Henry and Marvin Chris Henry; and two grandchildren, Cleveland Joseph Guidry, III and Anthony Lorenzo Roy. Mary was a native of Sunset and resident of Carencro for most of her life. She was heavily involved in her church parish, Our Lady of the Assumption in Carencro, where she served on the Parish Council and was a Junior Daughter of Our Lady of Assumption Court #269. She was also a member of the Ladies of Grace St. Paul Chapter #3 and the Fourth Degree Ladies' Auxiliary. She worked in the medical records department at River Oaks Retirement Manor for 41 years. Pallbearers will be Larry Henry, Harold Henry, Wilson Henry, Nelson Henry, Charles Henry, and Johnny Henry. Honorary pallbearers include Gerald Henry, David Henry, Roy Angelle, John Calvin Henry, Bryant Henry, Devon Skipper, Harold Lee Carter, Johnny Living, Randall Harris, Anthony Roy, Brandon Shelvin and Allen Sampy. The family requests that visitation be held at Walters Funeral Home on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 5:00 - 10:00 pm, and resume Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 7:00 am until time of service. Christopher was born October 4, 1963 in Lafayette, La to the late Louella Isaac and Cliff Lewis Sr. He leaves behind his loving wife Myra Isaac his 2 daughters Kristiana Isaac, Juonda (Micheal) Stewart and 6 grandkids. Chessy as he was known by his siblings leaves to celebrate his home going, 2 sisters Brenda (Peter) Alexander, Lisa (Nathan) Long and his 3 brothers Randy Isaac, Bryon (Cordelia) Isaac, and Bryant (Wascika) Isaac. Morris (Mable) Francis his father-in-law along with his sisters and brother gain when he married the former Myra Francis will join us in the celebration for Chris, Patrenella Narcisse, Stephanie (Ben) Milburn, Yonae Francis, and Gerard Francis. He also had 5 God children with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will be joining in as well. Marlene Ann Silver ST. AUGUSTINE, FL - Marlene Ann Silver, 77, Palm Coast, formerly of St. Augustine, died August 23, 2015 at her home. She was born in New Orleans, LA and had resided in St. Augustine since 1979, moving here from Gulfport, Mississippi. She served as co-pastor of Miracle Center Ministries until her retirement in 2011. Marlene was a great lover of animals. She also loved to cook, but her biggest joy was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday August 31, 2015 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday August 28, 2015 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully accepted or those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Flagler County Humane Society or to the A.S.P.C.A. Pamelia "Pam" Irene Hinton Thornton NEW IBERIA - Pamelia (Pam) Irene Hinton Thornton beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Nicholas DuPre' as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 8:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM Friday. She was born in New Iberia on February 15, 1942. She graduated from Mt. Carmel Academy, attended U.S.L. and then completed her studies at cosmetology school. After which she opened her own beauty parlor. Later, after time as a stay at home mother, she worked for the Iberia Parish School Board as a Special Education Teacher's Aide and High School Secretary at New Iberia Senior High School, from which she retired with twenty six years of service. Pam was deeply involved with reading and rosary groups. She also sang in the St. Peter's Church Choir. Pam was also a member of Kappa Iota, an education organization. She especially enjoyed reading, sewing, travelling, boating, fishing, and spending time at the beach. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi and was selected as one of their Valentine Sweethearts. Pam was also a maid in the Krewe of Andalusia and the Mystic Krewe of Iberians Mardi Gras Balls. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Hillman Hinton and her mother Emily Marie Doumit Hinton. She is survived by her husband Lyman (Butch) E. Thornton, Jr.of New Iberia and her sister Mary Jo Hinton Manning also of New Iberia. She also leaves behind her children Lyman E. Thornton, III and wife Edith, of Baton Rouge, Charles Hinton Thornton and wife Ann, of Lafayette, and Pamelia Emily Thornton Cuccia and husband Mike of Baton Rouge. Other survivors are her six grandchildren: Bradley and Jacob Thornton, Hinton and Mitchell Thornton, Emily and Rebecca Cuccia along with several nieces, nephews and many cousins. Mr. Touchet was a native of Milton and a resident of the Lafayette/Carencro area where he was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Paul Perry Touchet and his wife, E. Jane Stelly Touchet, of Houston, TX; one brother, Joseph L. "Joe" Touchet and his wife, Verly, of Lafayette; two sisters, Anna Mae Touchet Melancon and her husband, Adday, and Mary Helen Touchet Comeaux all of Lafayette; one granddaughter, Tiffany Paige Touchet - Hawkins and her husband, David, of Fort Worth, TX; and two great-grandchildren, Ashton Touchet and Drake Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of seventy-one years, Verda Touchet; his parents, Leonie Touchet and the former Amanda Menard; and one sister, Cecile Touchet Trahan.
