Madelyn Duhon Patin Covington - Madelyn Duhon Patin passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Harry John Patin. Loving mother of Harry John Patin, Jr. (Dru), Karla Patin (Rob), Karen Donovan (Tom), Donna Richardson (Reid) and Brett Patin (Susan). Beloved daughter of the late Gertrude Bernard Duhon and Mayo Roy Duhon. Sister of Eleanor Blanchard, Yvonne Gates and Margaret Gomez. Grandmother of Cody Fitzmorris, Hannah Fitzmorris, Harrison Donovan, Corey Richardson, Chloe Wiard, Beau Richardson, Scott Richardson, Andrew Patin, Stephen Patin and Katherine Patin. Also survived by eleven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Patin be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. E.J. Della Landry Prejean BROUSSARD - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church for Della Landry Prejean, 106, who passed away on April 24, 2016. Reverend William Ruskowski will be Celebrant of the Mass. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. Della, a resident of Broussard, was the daughter of the late Lovinsky Landry, Jr. and the former Alicia Menard. She loved music of all kinds, dancing, arts and crafts, working on jigsaw puzzles, bingo, attending Mass and visiting with friends and family. Della was a faithful member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and worked many years at the church fair. She will be remembered for her positive outlook on life and her love of family and faith. She is survived by one son, George Prejean, Jr.; two grandchildren, Kim Blanco and Burc Prejean; great grandchildren, Hunter Lapoint, Brandi Rae Marie Prejean, Parker Lapoint, Cole Prejean and Braxton Prejean; great great grandchild, Eden Lapoint; one brother, Austin Landry as well as several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George "July" Prejean, Sr.; daughter, Sally B. Caffey; three sisters and three brothers. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Broussard on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 1:00pm until 8:30pm. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm on Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 8:00am until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Burc Prejean, Cole Prejean, Hunter Lapoint, Parker Lapoint, Charles Landry and Billy Girouard. The family would like to thank the staff of Camelot of Broussard and Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care.
