Fa-Kouri M.D., Michael  
Michael William Fa-Kouri, M.D. BATON ROUGE - Dr. Michael William Fa-Kouri, native of Opelousas, La. and resident of Baton Rouge, La. passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his residence. He was a founding member of the Baton Rouge Radiology Group where he practiced for 47 years. He received his undergraduate at USL in Lafayette and attended medical school at LSU in New Orleans. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his five daughters, which he believed to be his greatest accomplishment. Michael was a loving husband, amazing father, father-in-law, grandfather, baby brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Sittig Fa-Kouri, daughters, Dana Angelle Fa-Kouri, Paige Fa-Kouri Patterson and husband, Gregg Joseph Patterson, Jill Marie Fa-Kouri, Kristie Fa-Kouri Esteve and husband, Darren Christopher Esteve, and Brandi Fa-Kouri Shows and husband, Joseph Ryan Shows; sisters, Angelle Fa-Kouri Boustany, Vera Fa-Kouri Joseph, Marjorie Fa-Kouri, and Vienna Fa-Kouri; grandchildren, Elisabeth Belle Fontenot, Juliet Claire Fontenot, Joseph Michael Patterson, Lauren Elise Patterson, Michael James Esteve, and William Paul Esteve, Dominic Victor Shows, Alexis Natalia Shows, and Sophia Isabelle Shows. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Maggie Fa-Kouri and brothers, John Fa-Kouri, Jr. and Jacob Fa-Kouri. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am conducted by Father Cleo Milano. Interment will be held at 1:00pm at Greenoaks Memorial Park. He served in the Louisiana National Guard during his college years. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project. Fatjo, Annie  
Annie Guidry Fatjo LAFAYETTE - Annie Guidry Fatjo, 99, passed away quietly at her home in Lafayette on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Fatjo and her daughter, Jennifer Fatjo. She leaves behind a legacy of love to her surviving four children, Judith Hagood, Elaine Young, W. C. Fatjo, Jr. and Scott Fatjo, all of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Duke Young of Helotes, TX, Michael Young of Rockhill, SC, Debbie Burns, Julia Fatjo, Nicholas Fatjo and Michael Fatjo, all of Lafayette; and four great grandchildren, John Michael Judice, Jake Young, Bo Young and Tommy Burns. A private Graveside Service was held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express special thanks to Mrs. Fatjo's caregivers over the last few years, Ann Menard, Dynelle Thomas, Theresa Cailler and Regina Clark; and the doctors, nurses and staff of Community Hospice, for their love and compassionate care. Fsc, Brother Delbert Harris  
Brother Delbert Harris, FSC LAFAYETTE - Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Brother Delbert Harris, FSC, age 83, who died on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Courtyard Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette. Interment will be in De La Salle Cemetery in Lafayette at 1522 Carmel Dr. Lafayette 70501. Reverend Edward Degeyter will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Brother Delbert Andrew Harris was born March 27, 1932 in New Orleans LA, the son of William Herbert Harris, Sr., M.D. and Marie Mercedes Friedrichs (both Deceased). He is survived by a sister Joel Harris Robichaux and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Del was the youngest of 10. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, William Jr., Jane, Betty, Catherine (kitty), Mercedes (Cedes), Marie, Friedrichs and Donald (Don). Brother Del received his Habit on December 7, 1951. Del made his Final Profession on August 15, 1956. He received his B.A. of Arts at St. Michael's College, Santa Fe NM in 1956. His Teaching assignments (tour of duty) were at Hanson Memorial in Franklin, LA, St. Michael's Santa Fe, NM, De La Salle, New Orleans, LA Rummel, Metairie,LA, St Paul's Covington, LA, and Christian Brother Academy, New Orleans LA. Brother Delbert retired in Lafayette, LA at Magnolia Holy Family Community in 2008. Due to illnesses he entered into Maison De Lafayette for a short period then moved into Courtyard Manor Nursing Home. A Rosary will be recited by Brothers of De La Salle on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Location. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services. The Christian Brothers would like to thank the staff at Maison De Lafayette, Courtyard Manor and Hospice of Acadiana for taking such excellent care of our Dear Brother! Fuselier, Denise  
Denise Louise Fuselier Metairie - Denise Louise Fuselier, age 54, has been called home to her Lord, making her Sacred Transition on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Daughter of the late Wallace and Wilma (Arndt) Fuselier. Wild, wise and loving sister of Paulette Fuselier and James and Cindy Fuselier. "Neesie" devoted her time to her parents as their primary caregiver. She loved nature; she loved trees and animals, especially her cats, "Black" and "Buttercup." She had a crazed and insightful sense of humor. We loved her dearly and will miss her too much. Funeral arrangements are private. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, with a memorial service following at 7 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA, (504) 888-8440. In lieu of flowers a donation to PETA ( www.peta.org ) or to a charity of your choice is preferred.
