Dale Lee Thibodeaux, Sr. LAFAYETTE - A Christian Funeral will be celebrated Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette for Dale Lee Thibodeaux, Sr., 57, who passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette. Visitation will be observed on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 9:00 am until the time of services, at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home in Lafayette. A rosary will be recited by Dale's father-in-law, Jesus "Gino" Perez, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 12:30 pm at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home. Father Keith LaBove, Pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Lafayette, will officiate. Dale was born December 20, 1957 in Lynnwood, CA and was a long-time resident of Acadiana. He attended UL at Lafayette, formally USL, obtaining a degree in Criminal Justice. Dale worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Lafayette Sheriff's Department for 20 years. He later continued his education, earning a degree to become a Draftsman Designer in the oil field. Dale was active in his community and volunteered for the Miles Perret Cancer Center. He was a Harley Motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed participating in "Poker Runs" for charity. Most of all, Dale loved spending time with his family and friends. Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Yvette Marie Thibodeaux of Lafayette; two sons, Dale Lee Thibodeaux, II and Randy James Thibodeaux and his wife, Kimberly, all of Lafayette; one brother, Dewayne Thibodeaux and his wife, Traci of Lafayette; sister-in-law, Sharon Thibodeaux of Abbeville; father-in-law, Jesus "Gino" Perez and mother-in-law, Joan Perez of Lafayette; three grandchildren, Daxx and Kaesen Thibodeaux and Leighton Thibodeaux, expecting another grandchild in October and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Thibodeaux; his mother, Janetta Stone Thibodeaux; his brothers, John and Randy Thibodeaux and his best friend, Robert "Bobby" Overfelt. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Staffs of Lafayette General Medical Center and Hospice of Acadiana, for the compassionate care given to Dale and his family. Floyd John Tolivour March 8, 1958 ~ March 21, 2015 Lafayette - Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00AM at Trinity CME Church in Lafayette for Floyd John Tolivour who passed away March 21, 2015. Interment will be held at Gethsemane Gardens. Floyd leaves to cherish his memories his children; Sadie Marks (Adolph), and Shelly Celistine (Rick) both of Opelousas LA., Renee Tolivour of Houston, TX, Juanita Tolivour and Floyd Tolivour Jr., both of Lafayette LA., Chastity Rosette-Jack (Brett) of Lake Charles LA., Pleshette Sturgis of New Orleans LA., Jeleesa Brown, Johnathon Tolivour and Justin Tolivour all from Lafayette LA., former wife of 25 years; Peggy Broussard Tolivour of Lafayette LA., siblings; Farris Tolivour Jr. (Paulene), Nola Angelle (Robert), Diane Lewis (Jesse), Roseila Borel (Joseph), Martha Tolivour, Catherine Williams (Cyrus), Walter Tolivour and Merlin Clark, nine grandchildren; Lyriana Vallien, Ethan Vallien, Darrion Rosette, Brielle Jack, Jahleel Broussard, Maddison Tolivour and Markaylon, Kaliyah Winzy, and Joe' Hanna Winzy, along with a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. Floyd is preceded in death by his parents; Farris Tolivour Sr., and Eva Willis, one daughter; Torianda Broussard, siblings; Louis Tolivour, Dorothy Cormier, Henry and Adam Tolivour, Juanita Harris, Jeffery, Butch and Rita Tolivour. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 7:00AM to 10:30AM at Kinchen Funeral Home. Trahan, Agnes Rose  
Agnes Rose Aimee Trahan LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at a 2:00 PM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Agnes Rose Aimee "T-Mae" Trahan, age 83, who died on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Inurnment will be in St. Anne Cemetery in Youngsville, LA at a later date. Reverend Keith Labove, Pastor of St. Patrick Church in Lafayette, will conduct the funeral services. Lectors will be Stephanie Trahan and Heather Trappey. Survivors include her husband, Paul Raymond Trahan; three sons, Anthony Trahan, Patrick Trahan and Paul Michael Trahan and his wife, Stephanie; ten grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Agnes Hebert Guillot; one grandchild, Matthew Raymond Trahan; two great grandchildren, Drake Jonathan Trahan and Desire' Rose Trahan; and two sisters, Rosie Baudoin and Annie Lou Guillot. Mrs. Trahan was a native of Youngsville and a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for most of her life. One of her greatest loves in life was to care for her husband and family, especially her grandchildren. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of the service. Mrs. Trahan's family would like to thank the staff of Courtyard Manor and Lafayette General for the excellent care they provided. The two people that deserved the most gratitude are Rachelle and Tony Trahan for the timeless devotion they gave to Rose through her whole stay at the home and the time of her passing. Tweedel, Shevonne  
Shevonne Cormier Tweedel CHURCH POINT - Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Shevonne Cormier Tweedel, 58, who passed away at 9:20 PM Tuesday, March 24 at her residence. Msgr. Jefferson J. Deblanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services with burial in the St. John Cemetery in Lewisburg, La. Shevonne, a resident of Lewisburg, was the daughter of the late Joseph Alton Cormier and the former Beulah Fontenot. She is survived by her husband, Douglas B. Tweedel, Sr. of Lewisburg; two step- daughters, Shannon Tweedel and Toni Tweedel-both of Lewisburg; one step-son, Douglas "Dougie" Tweedel, Jr. of Krotz Springs, LA; two step-granddaughters, Kurstin and Ariana Tweedel of Lewisburg; her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. James Tweedel, Sr. of Stuart, OK; her "children", Gizmo, Denim and Diggity II and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a step-daughter, Riki Tweedel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, March 27 and continue from 9:00 am Saturday until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 6:30 pm Friday evening. Shevonne, with a Masters of Education in teaching the "learning disabled", taught for some thirty-two years in local schools. A devout Catholic and tireless volunteer, she was a member of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish Council, The Catholic Daughters of America, a Eucharistic minister and a Church Lector; rising to the highest level of lay persons in the Diocese of Lafayette.
