A resident of Lafayette for all of her life, Paige Marie Guillet was a loving daughter, granddaughter, and friend to all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
Paige was a spirited and vivacious girl who loved animals, especially horses. In middle school, she was a young entrepreneur who started many businesses, including selling brownies and "Leaf Rakers of America." She enjoyed frogging, crabbing and fishing. She adored food, loving both cooking and eating. Her generous and easy-going nature endeared her to all who knew her. She will be remembered for the way her smile warmed your heart.
Paige loved her brothers and liked nothing more than going with them to the beach and snorkeling, attending their graduations, playing with them and watching them grow. She was excited about her brother's upcoming wedding, and looked forward to becoming a sister-in-law.
Reverend Richard Humphries, Senior Pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, Louisiana will conduct the funeral services.
Survivors include her parents, Shane and Amy Guillet; four brothers, Tyler Robertson, Ethan Guillet, Josh Guillet, and Braxton Guillet; her maternal grandparents, Andre' and Kathy Amy, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Suzanne Julie Guillet.
Pallbearers will be Ken Dugas, Tyler Robertson, Jake Poche, and Alan Amy, Brant Deshotels, Corey Deshotels, and Scott Leonard.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, from 8:00 AM until time of service.
