Vivian May Billodeau Morozko
JEANERETTE - A Memorial Mass will be held at 8:30am on Friday May 10, 2013 for Mrs. Frank Leopold Morozko, the former Vivian May Billodeau at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux to serve as the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. John Cemetery.
Vivian May Billodeau Morozko died at Courtyard Manor, Lafayette LA on April 28, 2013 at the age of 93. A native of Jeanerette, LA, Vivian married Frank L. Morozko and they made their home and careers in Cleveland, Ohio. Vivian retired from the Cleveland Public Library system. Frank was employed by General Motors
Corporation. Upon retirement, they built a home in Ft. Myers, FL. Following Frank's death, Vivian moved to Jeanerette to live with her aging mother. She served as a substitute teacher in the Iberia Parish School System until a subsequent move to Opelousas LA.
During the past 10 years Vivian has lived at Courtyard Retirement and Assisted Living and then at Courtyard Manor Nursing Home.
She is survived by one brother, Dewey D. Billodeau, Sr. (Josephine) of New Iberia. She is also survived by several nephews/nieces, great-nephews/nieces, 3rd generation nephews/nieces and cousins.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Leopold Morozko; her mother, Flavia Mendoza Billodeau; her father, Benny George Billodeau; and three sisters, Ethel Billodeau, Hazle Verret (Daniel) and Rosemary Lambert (Dinnie).
Vivian's family extends special thanks to the staff at Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living as well as Courtyard Manor Nursing Home for the compassionate care provided to her. In addition, a very special message of gratitude is extended to the many members of the Hospice of Acadiana team for the unlimited acts of professional care, kindness and compassion extended by them.

In accordance with her wishes, Vivian's Earthly body has been cremated and a memorial mass will be held to celebrate her life.
