Warren A. "Buddy" Dugan
CROWLEY - Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Crowley for Warren A. "Buddy" Dugan, 89, who died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 6:00 a.m. in Crowley.
Rev. Charles Floyd, Rev. Elaine Burleigh and Rev. Charlie Crews will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Dugan was a veteran of World War II
where he served in the US Army
Air Corp. "Buddy" served his country on Okinawa with the Corp of Engineers.
Mr. Dugan is survived by his wife of 67 years, Violet Foreman Dugan of Crowley; one daughter, Denise D. Maddie and her husband Joseph of Crowley; one son, Gregory L. Dugan and his wife Stephanie C. of Lafayette; his much loved grandchildren, Rusty B. Maddie and his wife Becky of Rayne, Kimberly M. Knight and her husband Aaron of Crowley, Lauren Maddie of Crowley; 4 great-grandchildren, Breyden B. Maddie, Kennedy L. Knight, Brayden J. Choate and Landon M. Maddie; brother-in-law, Bobby Foreman of Crowley; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Warren A. Dugan, Jr.; his parents, Albert J. and Theoza Matt Dugan; two sisters, Frances D. Schexnayder and Dorothy "Dot" Lambert.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Maddie, Vaughn Benoit, Bryan Benoit, Mike Benoit, Aaron Knight and Brian Foreman. Honorary pallbearers will be Breyden B. Maddie, Joseph Maddie, Jr., Bernie Edinger, Ron Edinger and Barry Edinger.
