Rosemary Doucet Singleton Logan

LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 29 at 2:00 pm at Delhomme Funeral Home Chapel of the Flowers for Rosemary Doucet Adkins Singleton Logan. A native of Lafayette, Rosemary died peacefully at home in Austin, Texas on June 25, 2014. She was 93 years old. Rosemary was born on December 31, 1920 to Mary Jane Doucet, née Mills, and Maxim Daniel Doucet. She is survived by her sister, Phoebe Doucet Vermillion of Lafayette; her children, John Singleton of Medina, Texas, Alexandra Singleton of Austin, Texas, Jane Singleton Paul of Washington, DC, Anne Louise Kobdish of Austin, Texas, and Susan Singleton of Terlingua, Texas; her grandchildren, Jacques Paul, Clint Singleton, John Xavier Paul, Kellie Singleton, Vianney Paul, Michelle Kobdish, Lisa Kobdish, Melody Weiss, and Corey Logan; her nieces and nephews, Barney Vermillion, Missy Barry, Carol Robbins, Bill Vermillion, and Dan Singleton. Rosemary was predeceased by her parents and her husbands, Horace "Shorty" Adkins, Alexander Singleton, and Larry Logan. Rosemary will be remembered for her grace, beauty, generosity, and abundant love.

Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 28. A Rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Saturday at 6:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Sunday from 10:00 am until time of service.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Maxim Doucet Education Scholarship Fund at ULL.
